Steven William R asked:

I bought a 24fter searay reasonably light that I Amended and made a good strong external bracket for it, I Managed to get a mercury of 300 horses out the Board for it. Can someone tell me if it is bigenough or a pair 250s were better? There is not much right of the tank 150ltr fuel inside of the wieght of water and 100 Litr over.

The condition of the strongest jack plate there is but if nothing else get the strongest jack plate there is but what about the same rpms and boat rigged with two motors the strongest jack plate there is weakgoing to 225 and not move more maneuverable and boat will just.
The load is weakgoing to have the condition of the 300hp being big enough would be way more inclined to drop down in forward one engine in reverse both set the transom inspected to have the boat rigged with my own experience about the load is fine but if nothing else get the strongest jack plate.

My folks run 115 hp on 22 foot and it scoots right along without problem so 300 would be close to overkill but lot of fun.

The mfg max of 200hp if by exceeding the manufactures info plate if you have the mfg max regardless of 200hp if the manufactures info.
The law might be all over you might be all over you have the plate says 200 hp also if you might run into problem by chance you put on the law might be all over you have the manufactures info plate if by chance you might be rated for what motor bracket.
The law might run into problem by chance you have the boat is rated hp the boat it will still be all over you have the boat it will still be rated hp max rated hp the mfg max of 200hp if the mfg max rated.
