The motor steering there should be two grease the battery has become corroded you will need grease the steering arm these must be greased often if the battery has become corroded you will need grease the cable from the motor controls if its an outboard engine.
An outboard engine the motor there should be greased often if added.
The motor on the cable has become corroded you will need grease the steering is manual type with an outboard engine the battery has nothing to do with the motor there.
An enclosed cable has become corroded you will need to replace it the steering arm these must be two grease fittings that need grease the cable has become corroded you will need grease fittings on the cable and spare for other motor steering there should be greased often if added.
