    Yes. Whaler enthusiasts might point out that whalers built from 1996 onward have less “reserve buoyancy” than older hulls, due to changes in construction technique implemented by Whaler’s current owner (Sea Ray).

    The Montauk 17 and 13 Super Sport are super stable and unsinkable, and last forever.
